December 2006 - The Blizzard

The snowfall just started Wednesday morning at eight. What a mess! On Thursday morning we had more than 50cm of snow!

Spring 2006 - Mount Sanitas

Luka, Galen, and myself went on to a hike up to Mount Sanitas in Boulder which has an elevation gain of 1255 feet. This this the 2nd attempt to get to the peak with Galen and Luka, and this time they made it.

November 2005 - Vacation in Mexico

The whole family went for a vacation. Cabo San Lucas.

November 2005 - Basement Finish

August 2005 - Camping with P.T. in Grand Lake

We went camping with Opa P.T. around Grand Lake. During that time we saw some tremendous beetle damage

Wow, I have not posted pictures for more than 9 month! So much has happened...

I think Luka wants to have a motorcycle when he is all grown up... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Luka visits Santa.

For christmas he got a drum, that he unpacked himself and the started to play immediately. Also, Santa brought Luka a skateboard with all the protective gear!

March 2003

Some people wanted to know how we survived the blizzard. Thanks for the concern! We were doing just fine. We were stuck in the house for two days, which led to a little bit of cabin fever, but no permament damage was done.

Yesterday we went outside and checked things out: Did any one of you watch the movie 'Dude, where is my car?'?.

Well, we found both of our cars (Civic,Van), but could not be bothered do dig them out, since we could not have gone anywhere anyway: 1, 2.

(Note that Luka and Angelique are standing on our driveway..) At least Luka got into a snowball fight with his mom.

Otherwise Luka is trying to make himself useful: As a cook ( 1, 2, 3) and by making coffee.

January 2003

Luka and Mama went to go see Rebekah's art exhibition. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

There is no excuse anymore for Mama, and Papa not getting any exercise, since we have a Burly! Luka enjoys riding in it quite a bit.

Luka's old house-shoes got certainly a lot of wear and tear.

Finally, the single lone picture from aunt Charly's wedding that papa was able to take.

August and September 2002.

We went for a little hike with Luka in the Rocky Mountain National Park. He seems to enjoy the outdoors quite a bit 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.

Luka found a nice new playground: 1, 2, 3.

At Brice & Rebecca's wedding mama and papa had lot's of fun with Luka.

We were also able to vist grandpa P.T. in August, who enjoyed playing with Luka

July and August 2002.

Luka is flirting with his girlfriend in a bar: 1, 2, 3, 4.

We also went to our first camping trip: 1, 2.

Luka enjoys playing in water, either at the creek, or at the found on Pearl St. Mall (1, 2, 3). And finally on hist birthday in his own pool.

Luka's first July 4th (Independence Day).

June 2002 - One year Old!.

This month we are celebrating Luka's first birthday. Here he is enjoying is birthday cake: 1, 2.

Not only has he gotten more and more mobile (.mov file, 9MEG!) over the last couple of month, he even started to walk(.mov file, 5MEG)!

He had a lot of fun during his first birthday. Big excitement in the evening, when he knocked over a brick onto his little toe and then looses a toe-nail! But he soon was OK again after mommy's care and daddy's handywork with the bandages. It also helps to that Nana is paying lot's of attention to the birthday child.

May 2002

We had snow on May 25th, right after Angelique's first Mother's Day as a mother.

April 2002 - Playing.

Luka enjoys eating fruits of any kind. Here is is eating an avocado. He also likes playing with mom and dad in the laundry basket. All this is increasingly enjoyable, since he is getting better and better at standing up. His favorite game is still knocking (.MOV file, ~ 5 MEG) over whatever he can get his hands on.

January 2002 - Luka is crawling and standing up.

Luka starts to eat 'people' food, like bread and carrots. Pasta is for dad though. Otherwise he like to play on the kitchen floor (1 ,2) and stand up holding on to his toys. (1 ,2). Oh, and he also likes to play music
